brief.

Minimaximal Sound System Records is a made up records company that creates compilation albums in order to celebrate techno artists' careers and musical accomplishments.

Our teacher created the brand's visual identity, based around a repeating "M" pattern which he used to create the first volume of the collection for the artist Aphex Twin.

We were then tasked to create the next releases of the collection choosing our own artist and then declining the base M concept for our chosen artists' visual identity.

For this part of the project, we also had to create a secondary cover for the Aphex Twin vinyl. This cover had to represent one song in particular (in my case "Pancake Lizard") and we had to visually transcribe every single note of the song to create an art piece.
